Politics, manifest self interest and humbug: Windsor / Gillard

Politics, manifest self interest and humbug: Windsor / Gillard
Tony Windsor's basest self - preservation instinct is implicit in his pronouncements fearing that as leader Rudd might call for a snap poll.
'' More than likely''  a change of leader would trigger a return to the polls.
The Australian 23 February 2012.

Indeed Windsor has his baseball - wielding conservative electorate to fear - in going against their majority wishes in his getting into bed with the Gillard / Green aegis.

Gillard always had the numbers with these independents - yet she  used all sorts of shallow, self - serving justifications for her multiple lies to the electorate.

Then Gillard uses the trite vehicle of the disingenuous: how she was ''disappointed that the concern Mr Rudd has publicly expressed this evening were never personally raised with me, nor did he contact me to discuss his resignation  prior to his decision.''

No wonder so many people rate this amalgam of the asinine to be heading for electoral oblivion.
